Prior to Mindy's death she asked several friends to help her spread the message that there is help for depression and that suicidal ideations can be managed.  Despite her wanting to help others she was ashamed of her own diagnosis and although she had a court order to be in rehab she checked herself out of the hospital and refused to continue treatment because of media scrutiny and the stigma they placed on her.  Mindy was shamed for taking care of her mental health and this ultimately lead to her suicide.   ​Now that Mindy is gone I started this charity to attempt to help Mindy fulfill her last wish and let  those who suffer know that there is help available.
